Frog's Sticky Tongue — Privacy Policy
Overview
Frog's Sticky Tongue ("the App") is a single-player game in which you aim a frog's tongue to catch candy across 500 levels, with a daily challenge and a shop of frogs and tongues to unlock. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the App and how it's handled.
The short version: we collect nothing, the App sends nothing anywhere, and your game data stays on your device. There are no ads, no analytics and no account.
Information We Collect
We collect nothing. The App has no account creation, no sign-in and no password. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any device identifiers.
The App contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no third-party services that collect data of any kind.
Information Stored On Your Device
The App saves a small amount of information locally so it can remember your game between sessions. It never leaves your device and we have no access to it:
Level progress — which of the 500 levels you have unlocked, the stars you earned and your best score on each.
Coins and unlocks — your coin balance and the frogs, tongues and designer tools you have unlocked.
Your custom frog — the colours, hat and name you chose in the Frog Designer. The name is whatever you type; it is shown only inside the App.
Daily challenge — the date you last completed it and your best score that day.
Settings — whether sound effects and vibration are switched on.
How We Use This Information
We don't, because we never receive it. The information above is read and written by the App on your own device, purely to run the game: to unlock the next level, show your stars, equip your frog and remember your settings. None of it is transmitted, profiled, sold or shared with anyone.
Where This Information Is Stored
In the App's private storage area on your phone, which other apps cannot read. There is no account, no cloud sync and no server-side copy. If you install the game on a different device, it starts fresh.
Permissions
The App uses one permission you might notice: Vibration, for the small buzz you feel when you catch candy or hit a hazard. You can switch it off in Settings.
The Android package also declares a few standard permissions that the framework the App is built with includes by default: Internet and network state, keeping the device awake while running, and adjusting audio for sound effects. None of them is used to send or receive any information about you.
The App does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, files, photos or notifications. The microphone permission that the audio library would otherwise add is explicitly removed from the build, as are the permissions for drawing over other apps and for reading and writing shared storage.
Network Access
The App makes no network requests. It is fully playable offline and in aeroplane mode. Nothing about you or your game leaves your phone, because the App never contacts a server — not ours, and not anyone else's.
There are no ads to load, no analytics to report, no update checks and no leaderboards.
Advertising and Third-Party Services
There are none. The App shows no adverts, uses no advertising service, and contains no analytics, attribution, crash-reporting or A/B-testing service. It does not read your Advertising ID. No third party receives any information about you through this App.
Purchases
There are none. Coins are earned only by playing, and everything in the shop is unlocked with those coins. The App has no in-app purchases and asks for no payment information.
Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages. It contains no adverts, no purchases, no chat and no way for players to contact one another.
We collect no personal information from anyone, which means we collect none from children. The only thing a player can type is a name for their custom frog, and that name stays on the device.
Your Choices
Everything the App stores is on your device and under your control. You can erase all of it at any time using Settings → Reset All Progress inside the App, or by uninstalling the App, which permanently removes its local storage.
Because we hold no data about you, there is no account to close and no data request for us to fulfil.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If a future version adds a feature that involves data — such as advertising — this page will be updated to describe it before that version is released.
